Polina Polonska completed her medical degree in Ukraine in 2014 and fled to Germany because of the war. She received approbation following the knowledge test and began her specialist medical training in anaesthesia.

Pelşin Bars studied medicine in Turkey. In Turkey there were barely any training places on offer for the speciality of dermatology. This was why she came to Germany in 2016. She received approbation following a knowledge test. Today, Pelşin Bars works as a junior doctor specialising in dermatology.

In 2020, Izabela Trzeszczkowska came to Berlin from Poland. She wanted to work as a midwife. She quickly obtained her recognition thanks to support from Club Dialog e.V. And today she is working at the Charité in Berlin.

Galina Batt worked in Russia as a “feldsher”. Because this occupation does not exist in Germany, she completed an adaptation period. Since receiving recognition, she's been working in a hospital in Bergisch Gladbach.

Edchel Grace Cortez came to Germany from the Philippines in 2020. Following a successful recognition process, today she works as a general nurse in Alzey.

Mohammad Ebrahim brought with him professional experience as a medical laboratory assistant in radiology from Syria. Thanks to recognition, he is working today in a radiation therapy practice in Neuwied.

Ahmad Rez had his own pharmacy in Syria. Even before he fled Syria, he was determinedly learning German. Thanks to recognition, the family man now works as a pharmacist in Lahnstein.

Salam Omer Mussttaf Al-Gailani came to Germany from Iraq in 2014 as a refugee. The assessment of his Bachelor degree helped him to realise his dream of working as a psychologist.

Giusi Frazzetta worked below her actual qualifications for over a year as a healthcare assistant. After recognition of her Italian credentials she assumed more responsibility as a Nurse.

Lidia Skurat, a registered general nurse, arrived in Germany in 2013. She was without a job here initially—but thanks to recognition she's now working again on a full-time basis in her occupation.
