Information about the operators of the hotline:

The hotline “Working and Living in Germany“ is a measure provided as part of the Federal Government’s demographic strategy. It is operated by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The basis of this is a cooperative arrangement between the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), and the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The hotline supports services provided by “Make it in Germany“, “Anerkennung in Deutschland”, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), the Federal Employment Agency (BA) and the Centre for International Migration and Development (ZAV).

Information regarding data protection:

Your call can be transferred between the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and the Federal Employment Agency (BA). Sometimes it is not possible immediately. In this case your request and your personal data is forwarded to a member of staff. Your personal data is your name, first name, email address and telephone number. Your data is only forwarded via encrypted emails.
All statements made to the BAMF and the BA are voluntary. Your data is collected, processed and used only for the purpose of providing you with advice via the hotline. Your data is not passed on to third parties. Your data is deleted immediately after responding to your enquiry.
